Free Gift Card Sweepstakes: What's Real and What to Know Before You Enter
Is Free Gift Card Sweepstakes legit?
This is a sweepstakes run by an advertiser in our network. You spin a wheel to pick a reward, then register and complete a task to be entered into the drawing. Entering does not promise you will receive anything; the winner is drawn under the official rules shown on the entry page.
No purchase necessary. Official rules are shown on the entry page.
How it works
This is a sweepstakes where you spin a wheel to choose a reward, then complete registration and a task to enter the drawing. The sweepstakes is run by an advertiser in our network and is open to US residents on both mobile and desktop devices.
When you arrive at the entry page, you will typically spin or select a reward from the wheel. After choosing, you move to registration, which usually asks for your name, email address, and phone number. Next you complete a task on the offer's own site, as described on the page. Offers like this usually show you a page of partner offers after registration that you can review or skip. Once you finish, you are entered into the drawing.
After you submit your entry, you may receive emails from the advertiser or partner companies whose offers were shown to you. The winner is drawn according to the official rules. You should check the entry page for the official rules, which explain the drawing date, how the winner is selected, and how you will be contacted if you win. If you receive unwanted emails, look for an unsubscribe link in those messages.
To stay safe, read the official rules and terms on the entry page before you start. Never share passwords, Social Security numbers, or payment information during entry. Do not pay any fees to enter or claim a prize; sweepstakes are free to enter. If you are contacted by someone claiming to represent the sweepstakes and asking for money or sensitive information, that is a scam.
